Question 1

What is KOT software in a restaurant POS?

Accepted Answer

KOT (kitchen order ticket) software sends each order from ThisPosAll Serve or the billing screen to the kitchen as a screen ticket or printed slip so prep matches what was sold.

Question 2

Do I need a separate kitchen display system?

Accepted Answer

No. Kitchen screen and kitchen tickets are part of ThisPosAll restaurant POS — the same menu and checks drive both billing and kitchen.

Question 3

Does it work for takeaway as well as dine-in?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Takeaway and dine-in orders can be sent to the kitchen with clear order context.
